LocalClaw 1.0.168
Compatibility and reliability update for OpenClaw v2026.7.1, with safer Gateway health checks, repair behavior and plugin reconciliation.
Built for the latest OpenClaw
This release focuses on the parts of the setup path that must stay dependable when OpenClaw changes its Gateway output, plugin registry and repair behavior.
OpenClaw 7.1 status support
LocalClaw now reads the current Gateway health response and recognizes the new running state without reporting a false failure.
Safer update recovery
The repair path reinstalls the Gateway service when needed, runs the supported doctor flow, restarts it and verifies health before continuing.
Cleaner plugin reconciliation
Official plugin metadata is refreshed while legacy or stale entries are handled conservatively to reduce post-update drift.
No false "Ready" screen
If OpenClaw or the Gateway remains unhealthy, LocalClaw stops and reports the failure instead of presenting an installation as complete.
Install the update safely
Use the current notarized package. Keep your purchase email and license key available before replacing an older beta.
Close LocalClaw
Quit the running app before opening the new disk image.
Download the current DMG
Use the button above or the main download page. The published package is Apple-notarized.
Replace the app in Applications
Open the DMG and drag LocalClaw into Applications, replacing the older copy when macOS asks.
Refresh and verify
Open LocalClaw, run the update check and confirm that the Gateway reaches a healthy running state.
Check OpenClaw from Terminal
openclaw update status openclaw gateway status --json --require-rpc --timeout 5000

Install OpenClaw without assembling the stack by hand
LocalClaw guides the macOS setup, manages model modes and gives you one control center for the Gateway, agents, channels and scheduled work.
